Daimler Colombia presents two new mid-size minivans ( Mid Size ), these are the Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer 111 and Vito 114 CDI. Both references, with the capacity to transport eight passengers plus the driver, arrive to meet the needs of the segment of passenger transport, which is the one with the greatest participation in the national market.
These vehicles have similar characteristics in terms of design, dimensions, safety systems, 3157 led bulb and novelties. However, they differ in traction and emission standards, since the Vito Tourer 114 is 4×2 rear-wheel drive and Euro VI emission standard engine with AdBlue, while the Vito Tourer 111 is 4×2 front-wheel drive and has with a Euro V emission standard engine.
The minivans have a double circuit hydraulic brake with pressure servo, four-wheel disc brake with ABS, Electronic Stability Program ( ESP ) and BAS (Emergency Servo Brake), as well as Traction Control System (ASR). They also have a sidewind wizard, which uses ESP precision sensors to avoid unpleasant surprises with crosswind gusts.
The Vito Tourer 111 engine offers 136 horsepower and 33.6 kg-m of torque, while the Vito 114 CDI delivers 114 HP of power and 27.5 kg-m of torque; in both cases, managed with a six-speed manual gearbox. Among its onboard equipment, the presence of window bags and double frontal airbags, thorax, and hip highlighted.
